Initially inspired by a precious elegant tern we met at a wildlife rehabilitation center, who was a victim of the tragic drone crash incident in May 2021, our collection is further enriched by another stunning Elegant Tern we had the pleasure of meeting and photographing at Crystal Cove Beach in 2024.These stunning pieces capture the elegance and natural beauty of the elegant terns while highlighting the threats they face. From their magnificent black crest to their shiny orange bills and vibrant white and rosy feathers, each piece in Rubellite’s Collection—from the painting colors to our customized fabrics and fashion designs—resembles the precious beauty of elegant terns. Elegant terns are currently classified as "Near Threatened" (NT), signifying their vulnerability to becoming endangered in the near future. Rubellite's story inspired us so profoundly that we have chosen her to be part of our logo!
